The Sycamore’s Spirit Healing Retreat was born of a desire to bring together the Great Teachers of many spiritual paths and the people who are meant to connect with them. With all of the current and forthcoming Earth Changes, things are moving at a faster pace than ever before. Many souls are feeling lost, confused and even fearful. Most of us need a place to get away from this fast pace and reconnect with Mother Earth and simply “go back to the basics”. It is our living prayer that The Sycamore’s Spirit Healing Retreat becomes a place of healing and reconnecting to the Source for many of you. We are local enough to be a destination made affordable. If you find an event that speaks to you, and you feel you are supposed to be there but truly have financial difficulties, please contact us. We are trying to make a few spots available for work/study scholarships.
We offer homemade food from local, organic, sustainable ingredients. We never knowingly use gmo food products or ingredients, and strive very hard to avoid them at all costs!!! If an ingredient is not local, we try to make sure it is fair trade whenever possible, as is the case with coffee, tea, sugar and cacao or chocolate. When registering, please indicate special dietary needs to be sure we serve a wide variety of foods you can enjoy during your stay. Most meals include vegetarian options, and vegan, dairy-free or gluten-free items are not a problem!
Weekend events include snacks and beverages Friday evening, 3 meals on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday (Unless individual event states otherwise). Meals are served buffet style in our dining room. Most accomodations are dormitory style (2-6 people per room in bunk beds). However, there are a few private rooms available for upgrade if you desire, as well as 2 cabins and (2) 2 bedroom apartments if available at time of reservation. We are located on 2 acres of land with Little Pine Creek running through the backyard. Some lectures will be held outdoors by the water, weather permitting. We are directly across from State Gamelands, so hiking and biking paths are very close by. Most retreats will offer yoga in the morning by the water, so please pack some comfy clothes and yoga mat if you have one!
Our facilities are also available for any group that needs a place to hold their own retreat. Please contact us for availability and pricing.
Please note that our entire campus is drug and alcohol free, as we support the principles and values of recovery based organizations! Recovery based events are very welcome here! We are a non smoking establishment as well, with some smoking areas available outdoors, but we ask that you be mindful of the people around you as many people come here as part of their journey toward better health.
